1. Introduction and Agreement

Welcome to Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies  ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at royalempirebakery.shop, our social media pages, and all purchases of our products, including custom and specialty cakes, cookies, and other baked goods (collectively, "Products").

By accessing or using any part of our services, placing an order, or interacting with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms, then you may not access the website or use our services.

2. Product Orders

A. Placing an Order

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies. Orders can be placed online, by phone at (868) 761-9701 . For custom or specialty orders (e.g., wedding cakes, large corporate orders), a detailed consultation may be required, and a separate, written Order Confirmation document will be provided.

B. Pricing and Payment

  1. All prices are listed in TTD and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable sales tax or delivery fees, which will be added to your total.
  2. For custom orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your date and begin design work. The remaining balance is due on the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
  3. Full payment is required at the time of order for all standard or non-custom items.
  4. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Cash,Wire Transfer.

C. Order Changes and Cancellations

  1. Standard Orders (Non-Custom): Changes or cancellations must be requested no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time. A refund (minus any processing fees) may be issued at our discretion.
  2. Custom/Specialty Orders (Cakes, etc.):

    • Cancellations: If you cancel a custom order, the initial deposit is non-refundable. If the cancellation occurs less than 48 Hours before the pickup/delivery date, the full payment may be forfeited, as ingredients and labor will have already been committed.
    • Changes: Any changes to the design, size, or flavors of a custom order must be requested at least 5 days before the pickup/delivery date and may result in a change in the final price. We cannot guarantee that all requested changes can be accommodated.

3. Product Pickup and Delivery

A. Pickup

  1. You are responsible for picking up your order at the agreed-upon time and location.
  2. Once the product is accepted and leaves our premises, Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies is no longer responsible for any damage, melting, or loss that occurs. We will provide clear instructions on the safe transport of your baked goods.

B. Delivery

  1. Delivery is available within the the greater part of Trinidad and Tobago  area for an additional fee.
  2. You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.
  3. We are not responsible for damage that occurs at the delivery location due to weather, animals, or third parties after the delivery is successfully completed and signed for (or left in a secure, pre-agreed location).
  4. If the recipient is unavailable, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you and a safe drop-off location is not authorized, the order will be returned to the bakery, and you will be responsible for picking it up. A redelivery fee will apply for a second attempt.

4. Product Quality and Allergens

A. Disclaimers

  1. Appearance: While we strive for accuracy, all images shown on our website or provided during consultation are for illustrative purposes. The actual product may vary slightly in color, decoration, or finish due to the nature of baking, lighting, and ingredient availability.
  2. Custom Designs: We will interpret design inspiration provided by you. We reserve the right to make minor structural or aesthetic adjustments to ensure the product's quality and stability.

B. Allergens and Dietary Needs

  1. The Bold Bakery operates in a facility that handles WHEAT, EGGS, DAIRY, and NUTS (including almonds, pistachios etc.), and other major allergens.
  2. We cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% free of trace amounts of allergens, even if an item is made without a specific allergen (e.g., "gluten-friendly").
  3. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any and all severe allergies when placing an order. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of cross-contamination.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our Products, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been picked up or delivered.

  1. Quality Concerns: If you believe there is a serious issue with the quality, taste, or structural integrity of your product, you must contact us immediately (within 2 hours of pickup/delivery). We require the product (or a substantial portion, at least 75%) to be returned to us for evaluation.
  2. Any resolution (partial refund, credit, or replacement) is solely at the discretion of Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies and will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We are not responsible for issues arising from improper storage, transport, or failure to follow our care instructions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and social media, including logos, images of our products, and design concepts, is the exclusive property of Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or modify any of our content without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Royal Empire Bakery & Supplies, nor its owners, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our products or services, including, without limitation, allergic reactions or transportation damage. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your purchase of our products shall not exceed the total price you paid for the product in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad & Tobago, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
